GoBlu is a fitness tracking and AI coaching app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have. By using GoBlu you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
When you sign up we collect your email address and (optionally) a display name via Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email/password authentication powered by Supabase.
The app stores the data you enter: age, sex, height, weight, goal weight, training preferences, equipment, injuries, body measurements, daily check-ins, workout sessions (sets, reps, weights, timestamps), and program customizations. This data is synced to your private row in our Supabase database so it is available across your devices.
When you use AI features (Coach Chat, Weight Explainer, Damage Control, Cheat Meal planner, Bring-Your-Own-Program parsing, Scan My Gym), the relevant prompt — and for Scan My Gym, the photos you select — is sent to Groq (api.groq.com) for processing. Inputs are not used to train any model and are not retained by Groq beyond the response.
iOS may share crash reports and aggregate diagnostics with us if you have "Share with App Developers" enabled in your iOS Settings. We use these only to fix bugs.
With your explicit permission, GoBlu reads steps, active calories, exercise minutes, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, sleep, and body weight from Apple Health to populate the daily activity rings and Recovery card. These reads happen on-device. HealthKit data is never uploaded to our servers and never used for advertising. With your permission, GoBlu also writes completed workouts to Apple Health.
We do not collect contacts, precise or coarse location, advertising identifiers, browsing history outside the app, or any biometric data beyond what you explicitly enter.
To provide the app's features, sync your data across your devices, generate AI responses, send the daily reminder you've opted into, process subscription purchases via Apple, and diagnose crashes. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use it to train AI models.
We do not share your data with anyone else.
Your training and profile data are retained until you delete your account. You can export a JSON copy of your data at any time from Settings → Account → Export data. You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete account; deletion is immediate and irreversible and removes all data we hold about you.
GoBlu is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Your data is processed and stored in the United States via Supabase. By using the app you consent to this processing.
You have the right to access, correct, port, and delete your data. The Export data and Delete account features in Settings satisfy these rights immediately. For any other request email hello@goblu.io.
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be flagged in-app at next launch. The "Effective" date above tells you when this version was published.
